National Wear Red Day was created to bring awareness to heart disease in women. The goal is to encourage all women to take steps towards a healthier lifestyle by wearing red and sharing information about heart disease with their loved ones. 

Every year, heart disease kills more women than all forms of cancer combined. It’s important that we take this issue seriously and do what we can to prevent it from taking the lives of so many mothers, daughters, sisters, and friends.
