Nurses are often the first line of defense for so many; tending to every healthcare need, from responding to life-threatening emergency scenarios and delivering babies into this world all the way to taking care of our elderly in their last moments. National Nurses Week is a special time dedicated to showing appreciation toward these individuals whose compassion, resilience, and hard work ensure that we remain healthy. This celebration runs each year between May 6th (National Nurse Day) until Florence Nightingale's birthdate on May 12th - an opportunity to thank those who always have our best interests at heart.
