September is recognized as Blood Cancer Awareness Month, dedicated to aiding patients impacted by blood cancer, generating awareness, and funding research for progress. Blood cancer comprises three primary types: leukemia, lymphoma, and myeloma. In the United States alone, approximately 1.3 million individuals are in either remission or undergoing treatment for this condition. While advancements in treatment have significantly improved survival rates, there is still much ground to cover. Together, we can make a difference in the fight against blood cancer.
